The early spring season in Tokyo, between February and March, has a nice balance of cool weather along with awakening spring flowers such as plum blossoms and mimosa. With the help of photographer Ayako Photography, the young couple Mika and Toshi share with us their experience of doing a post-wedding photo shoot.
The Location: Yoyogi Park
Yoyogi Park is one of the largest parks in Tokyo and spans about 133 acres. The park is home to a variety of landscapes from forest groves to ponds and fountains to beautiful flowers. Japanese people enjoy visiting Yoyogi Park for outdoor sports and picnics all year round. The park gets quite busy around the spring season because of the gorgeous blooming plum and cherry blossoms.
This romantic shot looks like it's from a movie scene...

Love is in the air ❤️
Q: What did you think of the shoot?
Our wedding day had already passed and we figured this would be our last chance to have photos taken of us in our wedding outfits. So I booked a session and we are so happy with the amazing photos from the shoot!
Our photographer gave us great instructions for poses which made the photo shoot very fun. We're not used to being in photo shoots so we decided to do a photo session before our wedding too. Doing a photo shoot before our wedding meant we were able to practice and get a feel for what kind of photos we wanted for this photo shoot. I think that's why we were able to get so many great photos that we absolutely love!
We'd be more than happy to have another photo shoot - if there's an anniversary photo plan, we would love to do it!
Thank you so much!
