About Smilehunter
Smilehunter is Kimono Photo Session specialist company which has been based in Kyoto.
We provide an amazing photo session at our Machiya (traditional Kyoto-style merchant's house) studio, and around the city.
Costume and styling are all inclusive.
Our concept is creating not only the great photography but also the great experience for making you smile!
Different type of photography are also available as per your request.

◇ A master photographer of Japanese clothing will direct the posing with traditional kimono.
◇ The goal is not to just take photos, but to experience Japanese culture as well.
◇ Can choose from Uchikake (bridal kimono), Furisode (formal kimono), Machigi (regular kimono) or Wedding Dress.
◇ Great for wedding, pre wedding, tourists, etc.
・The bridal clothing includes hair setting, makeup, and help dressing in kimono.
・Furisode and Machigi have simple hair setting and help dressing in kimono.
・All photo data is provided.
・Basic editing provided for all photo data. (High-level edits are available for an additional price)
・Weekends are +32,400 JPY.

・A master of Japanese clothing photography, this seasoned photographer well-versed in Kyoto locations will teach you the best poses for traditional Kimono.
・You may choose from Shiromuku, Irouchikake, Furisode, Machigi, or Wedding Dresses.
・The goal is not to just take photos, but to experience Japanese culture as well.

*1 Machigi outfit is 79,800 JPY (tax included) for a 2 hour photoshoot.
